Mediterranean Olive Wood
The grain pattern of Mediterranean olive wood is diverse and distinct from tree to tree, meaning no two pieces will ever be identical. Its dense, hard grain makes it a hygienic, long-lasting choice for any kitchen.
Our boards are crafted from sustainably grown and ethically sourced olive wood, ensuring that no living trees are destroyed in the production of these fine boards.
Fun Fact: Olive trees are very slow growing. The wood used to produce these boards may be up to 300 years old.
All our olive wood products are finished with food-safe cutting board oil and will not taint any food they come in contact with.
Maintenance:
Olive wood will last a lifetime if it is properly looked after.
To keep your olive wood products looking their best, please follow this advice:
- Hand wash only, not suitable for dishwashers!
- Do not soak in water.
- Do not expose to heat or sunshine for an extended time.
- Coat with food-safe cutting board oil on a regular basis to prevent drying out and cracking.
